I’m starting this blog because I do a fair amount of training of different kinds in all sorts of places and some of my experiences might be of interest to other trainers in our community. I’m freelance half the year and have been to four continents in the last twelve months (if you count Europe) training primary, middle, secondary and tertiary teachers. I’ve run a CELTA in Alexandria, worked to develop teacher trainers in Macau, trained teachers involved in CLIL in Brazil (see my article in MET Journal 26/2 April 2017 on this). Not always being in a staffroom to share trials and solutions, I hope I can start a conversation this way, in the world’s e-staffroom. Happy reading – and please do get back to me if I manage to engage, or enrage, you!
